City Club Marietta's golf course celebrates a significant milestone in 2015, marking its centennial anniversary. The course offers a demanding array of shot selections and boasts new Tif-Eagle Bermuda greens, promising golf enthusiasts a remarkable experience. Over the past ten decades, players have enjoyed the finest playing conditions amid the undulating terrains, majestic pine trees, and breathtaking Southern panoramas that Marietta has to offer.

Established in 1915, the club originated when members of the Marietta Country Club crafted the initial 9-hole layout on the grounds of the former Georgia Military Institute. This inaugural design featured holes surrounding the clubhouse and tracing along Powder Springs Street. In the 1960s, City Club Marietta's golf course expanded to a full 18 holes. Transitioning into a public facility in 1991 following its acquisition by the City of Marietta and a redesign undertaken by Mike Young Designs, the course has welcomed golfing enthusiasts to experience its revitalized offerings.
